On photoshoot days I really have to pinch myself. Months of planning, wardrobe compiling, casting, storyboarding, confirming, budgeting, etc all comes together. There are always those moments when you wonder if it’s going to work out. Like the morning of this shoot. We rented an amazing oceanfront beach house in Leucadia, CA. We hustled and were able to come in under budget and couldn’t believe our luck. Everyone showed up on time, makeup was happening, the first shot of the day was set and then the squall happened. Literally a waterfall of rain hovered over our beach house alone – sunshine to the left and right. But what can you do? We shifted the order of our shots and waited it out. And sure enough, the sun came through the clouds with some of the most gorgeous silvery light. And all was right with the day.
